Novak Djokovic jeered during battling victory over home hopeful Valentin Royer

Novak Djokovic, seeded third at Roland Garros, faced jeering from the crowd during his match against French home favourite Valentin Royer. Djokovic was visibly unhappy with noise from the partisan crowd but managed to battle through and secure a victory. The match highlighted the hostile atmosphere Djokovic faced as the crowd rallied behind local hopeful Royer.
