Novak Djokovic suffers shock Italian Open exit to 20-year-old qualifier Dino Prizmic in return from injury in Rome
Novak Djokovic, a six-time Italian Open champion, was knocked out of the tournament in Rome by 20-year-old Croatian qualifier Dino Prizmic, losing 2-6 6-2 6-4. It was Djokovic's first match back after two months out with a right shoulder injury, his last appearance having been a fourth-round exit at Indian Wells in March. Prizmic, ranked 18 years younger than the 38-year-old record 24-time Grand Slam champion, came back from a set down to claim the upset victory.
