Novuna GB & NI break World U20s record on Day Two of World U20s Champs

The Novuna Great Britain & Northern Ireland mixed 4x100m relay team broke the World U20 record on Day Two of the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene on August 7, 2026. The quartet of Divine Iheme, Savannah Morgan-McKenzie, Matthew Ajayi, and Sophie Thomas clocked 41.60 seconds in their heat, surpassing the previous record of 41.64 set by Australia just minutes earlier. The team indicated they believe they can run even faster in the final.
