Novuna GB & NI squad for the 2026 European Athletics Off-Road Running Championships

UK Athletics has announced the first selected athletes for the Novuna GB & NI team at the 2026 European Athletics Off-Road Running Championships, to be held in Ljubljana-Kamnik, Slovenia from 5-7 June. Ben Rothery and Scarlet Dale earned selection following victories at the Middle Distance Trail Running Championships, and are joined by Eve Pannone, Bertie Houghton, Luke Grenfell-Shaw, Alexander Chepelin, Kirsty Oldham, and Emily Cowper-Coles. The trail race will cover 52km in the Slovenian mountains, featuring 2,450m of ascent and descent, with additional GB & NI squads for the Uphill and Up-and-Down disciplines to be announced in May.
