Official: Camara to make Formula 1 debut with Haas in 2027

Ferrari junior driver Rafael Camara has been officially confirmed to make his Formula 1 debut with the Haas team in the 2027 season, partnering Oliver Bearman in a lineup featuring two Ferrari academy drivers. The Brazilian, who currently leads the Formula 2 championship standings, previously impressed Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu during a Test of Previous Cars session at the Autodromo do Algarve in Portugal. Camara previously won the Formula 3 championship at his first attempt and the Formula Regional European Championship, following a rapid rise through junior series since joining the Ferrari programme in 2022.
