Oilers sign Jason Dickinson to 5-year, $20 million contract extension
The Edmonton Oilers signed veteran center Jason Dickinson to a five-year, $20 million contract extension on Sunday, securing him before he could reach unrestricted free agency on July 1. Dickinson was acquired from the Chicago Blackhawks on March 5 alongside Colton Dach in exchange for a 2027 first-round pick and Andrew Mangiapane. In his time with Edmonton, he recorded one goal and three assists in 17 regular-season games, plus two goals and an assist in four playoff games, though he battled an ankle injury during the first-round series against the Anaheim Ducks.
