Okafor equals Swiss Premier League goal-scoring record

Leeds United forward Noah Okafor has equaled the record for most goals scored by a Swiss player in a single Premier League season, matching Xherdan Shaqiri's tally of 8 goals set in 2017/18. The 25-year-old, signed from AC Milan in the summer, scored his goals against opponents including Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, and a brace in a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford during the 2025/26 campaign. His first Premier League goal came in a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in September.
