Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout Lands Top 20 Finish in PGA Tour Event

Oklahoma State amateur golfer Preston Stout finished tied for 15th at the John Deere Classic on the PGA Tour, his third professional event as an amateur. Playing on a sponsor's exemption at TPC Deere Run, Stout shot rounds of 66, 69, 66, and 69 for a four-round total of 270 (14-under par). The three-time Big 12 champion entered the final round inside the top 10 and ended up six shots behind the leader.
