Olivia Miles scored a career-high 28 points and set a WNBA rookie record with eight 3-pointers (8-of-11 from range) as the Minnesota Lynx defeated the Golden State Valkyries 87-84 on Thursday night. Miles surpassed the previous rookie record of seven 3-pointers, which had been shared by Caitlin Clark and Crystal Robinson. The win gave Minnesota their sixth consecutive victory and improved their all-time record against Golden State to 7-0.
