Olympic hero Sharron Davies threatens Parkrun and NINE other sports bodies with legal action over transgender athlete policies

Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies has threatened legal action against Parkrun and nine other sports governing bodies over their policies on transgender athletes. Davies, a prominent campaigner for sex-based categories in sport, is challenging organisations that allow transgender women to compete in female categories or do not maintain strict male/female competitive divisions. Parkrun, one of the named bodies, does not divide runners into male and female categories for competition but allows voluntary gender identity selection for data recording purposes.
