
Ombudsman dishes out decisive beating to classy Royal Ascot field
Ombudsman, trained by John and Thady Gosden and ridden by William Buick, won the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot in dominant fashion, beating last season's Oaks winner Minnie Hauk and Arc winner Daryz by four lengths at odds of 11-10. William Buick needed only hands-and-heels in the final furlong as Ombudsman swept past the field on the outside. The Juddmonte International is now the likely next target for the impressive winner.
