Opening rounds of PGA Championship tee off at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square

The 108th PGA Championship has teed off at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Delaware County, with opening rounds beginning on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Delaware County native Braden Shattuck, director of instruction at Rolling Green Golf Club, was the first player to tee off in the opening round, marking his third PGA Championship appearance. Nearly 200,000 spectators are expected to attend the event throughout the weekend.
