O'Reilly returns to Man City after England injury

Manchester City left back Nico O'Reilly has been ruled out of England's remaining UEFA Nations League fixtures and is returning to his club for further assessment of an injury. He played in England's opening defeat to Spain but missed the 2-0 win over Czechia after missing training, despite manager Thomas Tuchel having expressed hope on Wednesday that he would be available for Saturday's game against Croatia. O'Reilly becomes the sixth player to withdraw from Tuchel's England squad, joining Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, and Tino Livramento.
