Orioles' medical hero Trey Mancini announces retirement

Trey Mancini, 34, has announced his retirement from professional baseball. The outfielder and first baseman is a cancer survivor who won the 2021 American League Comeback Player of the Year award after battling stage 3 colon cancer. Mancini, best known for his time with the Baltimore Orioles, chose to retire on his own terms.
