Paddy Pimblett willing to fight Conor McGregor at welterweight after UFC 329
Paddy Pimblett (23-4 MMA, 7-1 UFC) has expressed willingness to fight Conor McGregor at welterweight before the end of the year, should McGregor need an opponent after UFC 329 on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Pimblett is scheduled to face Benoit Saint Denis (17-3 MMA, 9-3 UFC) in the co-main event of UFC 329, but acknowledges that a win may not be enough to earn a lightweight title shot ahead of Arman Tsarukyan and Charles Oliveira. Pimblett noted he typically balloons to 190-195 pounds between fights, making a move up to the 170-pound welterweight division feasible for him.
