Padres ride ANOTHER dramatic comeback to victory in Mexico City Series opener
The San Diego Padres defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-4 in the Mexico City Series opener at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú on Saturday, rallying from a four-run deficit with a decisive four-run seventh inning. Ty France hit two home runs, while closer Mason Miller extended his franchise-record scoreless streak to 34 2/3 innings. The win pushed the Padres' record to 18-8, the best in baseball, and gave them five comeback victories of at least four runs this season — one shy of the all-time single-month record set by the 1930 New York Giants.
