Pakistan captain and all-rounder Fatima Sana broke the world record for the fastest half-century in women's T20 international cricket, scoring 50 off just 15 balls against Zimbabwe at the National Stadium in Karachi on May 15, 2026. She went on to top-score with 62 runs off 19 balls, helping Pakistan win by 133 runs and seal the series 3-0. Sana surpassed the previous record of 18 balls, which was jointly held by New Zealand's Sophie Devine and others.
