Palmer gets first red as Chelsea reach 100 in PL

Cole Palmer was sent off for the first time in his senior career during Chelsea's 2-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in a London derby at Stamford Bridge, receiving two yellow cards in the 70th and 80th minutes. His dismissal made Chelsea the third team in Premier League history to reach 100 red cards, joining Everton (113) and Arsenal (110). The result also highlighted Chelsea's ongoing disciplinary issues, having recorded 11 red cards in the 2025-26 season — the most of any Premier League club.
