Panthers relieve Evero of defensive coordinator duties

The Carolina Panthers have relieved defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero of his duties, the team announced Friday. Defensive line coach Todd Wash will take over the role on an interim basis. The move comes after a difficult stretch for the Panthers defense, which recently allowed six sacks in a single game against quarterback Bryce Young.
