Paul Farbrace to leave Sussex Cricket

Paul Farbrace is leaving Sussex Cricket at the end of October 2026 after four years at the club, having announced earlier in the season that he would step down as Head Coach ahead of his contract end. He will join Lancashire Cricket Club as their Director of Cricket, a role he was originally set to take up at Sussex on a part-time basis from November. Farbrace had previously helped Warwickshire win the 2026 Rothesay County Championship Division One title as their Batting Coach before returning to Sussex.
