Paul Seixas crashes at Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

French GC favourite Paul Seixas of Decathlon CMA CGM crashed at the beginning of stage 7 of the Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The incident left him more than two minutes behind the peloton on what was described as a pivotal 134-kilometre mountain stage. The crash significantly compromised his general classification ambitions at the race.
