Paula Blasi wins Vuelta Femenina for first Grand Tour victory

Spanish cyclist Paula Blasi, 23, won the women's Vuelta a Espana to claim her first Grand Tour victory, riding for UAE Team ADQ. She began the final day in second place overall behind Netherlands' Anna van der Breggen, but the four-time Giro d'Italia champion was dropped on a brutal final ascent with slopes of up to 23%. Blasi finished second on the final stage behind Switzerland's Petra Stiasny, but secured the overall title. This follows her earlier 2025 victory at the Amstel Gold Race.
