Pelkmans, Beckmon, Koskondy Earn All-American Status on Second Day of NCAA Championships

On the second day of the NCAA Outdoor Championships, three University of Illinois athletes earned All-American status: Luuk Pelkmans in the decathlon, Sophia Beckmon in the long jump, and Jordan Koskondy in the hammer throw. The Illinois women's track and field team finished 8th out of 37 schools with 9 points on June 11, 2026. The team had previously placed 2nd out of 18 with 92 points at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships on May 17, 2026.
