Penguins Re-Sign Pair Of Players Ahead Of Free Agency
The Pittsburgh Penguins signed two players to contract extensions ahead of free agency on Thursday. Forward Connor Dewar received a two-year deal through the 2027-28 season worth $2.25 million annually, while defenseman Ilya Solovyov signed a one-year extension valued at $850,000. The moves came after Pittsburgh was eliminated in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the Philadelphia Flyers in six games.
