Penn gets an early chance to measure its progress against No. 3 Illinois

Penn Quakers men's basketball team opens their season against No. 3 Illinois, the same team that eliminated them from the NCAA Tournament last year. The Quakers enter the matchup with significant continuity, returning seven of their top nine scorers from last season. The early-season game gives Penn an immediate opportunity to gauge how much they have improved during the offseason.
