PGA Tour board meets Monday to approve future competition rules and regulations

The PGA Tour's board, including both the non-profit PGA Tour Inc. arm (featuring Tiger Woods and Adam Scott) and the for-profit PGA Tour Enterprises arm (including Arthur Blake and John Henry), is scheduled to meet virtually on Monday, September 14 to approve competition rules and regulations. The meeting focuses on implementing details of the Future Competitions Committee's competitive model, which was approved by the board in June with player director Patrick Cantlay abstaining. PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp indicated the goal is to clarify the promotion and relegation process for the Championship and Challenger Series ahead of the next season.
