PGA Tour CEO calls Good Good’s initial response to controversial ad ‘concerning’
PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp publicly criticized golf media brand Good Good's response to backlash over a controversial advertisement, calling it 'disappointing,' 'defensive,' and 'late' at a news conference ahead of the Tour Championship in Atlanta. The ad, which has since been deleted, showed Good Good co-founder Garrett Clark pushing female employee Alexis Miestowski to the ground after she reached for one of his golf clubs. Rolapp acknowledged that Good Good's responses had improved following direct conversations with the PGA Tour, but said the organization would continue to monitor the situation.
