PGA Tour's Rocket Classic is finished after 2026 tournament

The PGA Tour's Rocket Classic in Detroit will be held for the eighth and final time on July 30–August 2, 2026, at Detroit Golf Club. Rocket Companies, founded by billionaire Dan Gilbert, has decided not to exercise its 2027 option, ending a 13-year run as a PGA Tour title sponsor that began under the Quicken Loans banner near Washington, D.C., before moving to Detroit in 2019. The decision was driven by sagging attendance, difficulty attracting marquee players, and imminent changes to the PGA Tour schedule.
