Pitcher Chooses Free Agency Over Brewers Return After Winning World Series

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Dustin May, who was traded from the St. Louis Cardinals to the Brewers during the 2026 season, has chosen to pursue free agency rather than return to Milwaukee after winning the World Series. The decision was reported by the New York Post's Jon Heyman. May will now seek a new contract on the open market.
