Wessel Nijman won Players Championship 21 in Wigan, defeating Ryan Searle in the final to claim his sixth Players Championship title of the 2026 season. It was Nijman's eighth consecutive victory over Searle, and his 10th PDC ranking title overall. He became the first player since fellow Dutchman Michael van Gerwen to win six Players Championship titles in a single season.
