Pocognoli: Scotland got what we deserved in loss

Scotland suffered a 2-1 UEFA Nations League home defeat to Slovenia under head coach Sebastien Pocognoli, who admitted his side did not deserve a better result. Scotland led at half-time through Ryan Christie's opener, but Slovenia's Aljosa Matko and Danijel Sturm scored in the second half to secure the visitors' first win in seven meetings against Scotland. The loss left Scotland third in Nations League Group B1 with four points from four matches, while the game also marked Billy Gilmour's 50th cap and Josh McPake's international debut.
