Pogačar and UAE keep losing riders — so who will actually support him at the Tour de France?

UAE Team Emirates-XRG sports director Andrej Hauptman has revealed the team plans to announce their eight-man Tour de France squad as late as possible. Tadej Pogačar, who last raced in early May when he won the Tour de Romandie overall title with four stage victories, is facing a depleted support roster with João Almeida and Marc Soler confirmed as absentees. Meanwhile, Pogačar's rival Jonas Vingegaard recently won the Giro d'Italia, and UAE say they have been monitoring him closely ahead of the summer's Tour de France.
