Pol Espargaró to replace Viñales at the British GP

Maverick Viñales will miss the British MotoGP Grand Prix at Silverstone due to ongoing recovery from an injury sustained at the Sachsenring in 2025, which has caused persistent strength issues in his left arm's external rotation. KTM reserve rider Pol Espargaró, a 2013 Moto2 World Champion with 70 MotoGP races for Tech3, will step in as his replacement. This marks Espargaró's second stint standing in for Viñales during the 2025 season, having previously deputised for the Spaniard during an earlier absence.
