Deputy Chief Don Chapman stated that formal motorcades are reserved for heads of state and that FIFA executives do not meet Internationally Protected Person standards required for such an escort. Infantino is in Vancouver ahead of FIFA Congress on Thursday, with the city set to host World Cup matches in the tournament running from June 11 to July 19 across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
