Police stop PL player who had a bow and arrow

Newcastle United full-back Amar Dedic was stopped by police on Wednesday after a member of the public reported two men carrying a bow and arrows near a reservoir on Military Road in the Harlow Hill area outside Newcastle. Multiple police units were dispatched and Dedic and a friend were stopped in a vehicle in the Darras Hall area, where the bow and arrows were seized. Northumbria Police confirmed the weapons appeared to be for recreational use and posed no threat to the public, though inquiries are continuing.
