Portland Fire notch first win, edge New York Liberty on buzzer-beater

The Portland Fire secured their first-ever WNBA victory on Tuesday, defeating the New York Liberty 98-96. Second-year guard Sarah Ashlee Barker hit a put-back buzzer-beater to seal the win. The Fire are an expansion team that revived a franchise which previously played in the WNBA from 2000 to 2002.
