Predators Hire Rob Blake as Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations

The Nashville Predators announced on June 5, 2026, the hiring of Rob Blake as Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations, where he will work alongside GM Chris MacFarland across all areas of the department. Blake, 56, is a Hockey Hall of Fame defenseman and two-time Stanley Cup winner who most recently served as General Manager of the Los Angeles Kings from 2017-18 through 2024-25, compiling a regular season record of 309-238-71. In his new role, Blake will assist in team development, free agency, player recruitment, drafting, and long- and short-term strategic planning.
