Predators trade for Bourque, Colton, Drury to bolster forward group

The Nashville Predators have bolstered their forward group through several offseason trades, acquiring Mavrik Bourque (24) from the Dallas Stars on July 1 for two draft picks, signing him to a six-year deal; Ross Colton (29) from the Colorado Avalanche on June 16; and Jack Drury (26) from the Avalanche on June 24, who signed a five-year contract. Bourque posted 41 points in 82 games last season, Colton contributed 24 points in 73 regular-season games, and Drury recorded 27 points with a plus-15 rating. The moves come after Nashville finished 38-34-10, sixth in the Central Division, and missed the 2025-26 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
