Premier League confirms Manchester City broke financial rules

The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City have been found guilty of breaking its financial rules over a nine-year period between 2009 and 2018. An independent commission found that the club used 'sham' contracts and deals with commercial partners to conceal more than £830 million in secret funding.
