Pro cycling winners and losers in April 2026

Paul Seixas dominated April's Classics, winning La Flèche Wallonne to become the youngest-ever victor on the Mur de Huy, and then outdueling Tadej Pogačar at Liège-Bastogne-Liège, finishing 45 seconds ahead of the World Champion. Seixas had also previously won three stages and the overall at Itzulia Basque Country. Meanwhile, Wout van Aert showed signs of recovery from his 2024 Vuelta a España crash, taking second at Dwars door Vlaanderen behind Filippo Ganna and fourth at the Tour of Flanders.
