‘Probably better than me’: How rookie Jackson Koivun has already wowed PGA TOUR winners

Twenty-one-year-old Auburn junior Jackson Koivun impressed established PGA TOUR winners at the 2025 Procore Championship, finishing fourth in his ninth TOUR event as an amateur. The field included ten U.S. Ryder Cup players such as Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, and Collin Morikawa, who were using the event as preparation ahead of Bethpage Black. Koivun had set a personal goal with his short-game coach to finish ahead of at least eight of the ten Ryder Cup players in the field.
