Puerto Rican boxer Prichard Colon dies over a decade on from suffering catastrophic injuries during fight that left him in a coma

Puerto Rican boxer Prichard Colon has died more than a decade after suffering life-altering injuries during a super-middleweight bout against American Terrel Williams in Virginia. Colon sustained a bleed on the brain caused by repeated blows to the back of the head during the contest, which left him in a coma. He had remained in a severely incapacitated state ever since the fight before his death.
