Rafaela's 2-HR night extends Red Sox surge

Ceddanne Rafaela hit two solo home runs — a 389-foot shot in the first inning and a 402-foot blast in the third — to account for all of Boston's early offense in a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The Red Sox managed only four hits against starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto but secured the win with an eighth-inning break, extending their winning streak to eight consecutive series wins. The victory came fresh off a 21-4 record in July for Boston.
