Raiders have 'no controversy' at QB as Klint Kubiak commits to Kirk Cousins over Fernando Mendoza

Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has confirmed there is 'no controversy' at quarterback, declaring Kirk Cousins as the team's starter. Kubiak acknowledged that backup Fernando Mendoza will see playing time this season, but with Cousins firmly entrenched as the starter, the timing and circumstances of Mendoza's opportunities remain unclear. The decision signals the Raiders' commitment to the veteran Cousins as their lead signal-caller heading into the season.
