Rainbow Warriors break through, beat Aggies 29–19

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Rainbow Warriors defeated New Mexico State (the Aggies) 29–19 on September 12, 2026, at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, securing their first win of the season to improve to 1–2. Quarterback Micah Alejado completed 33 of 45 passes for 346 yards, while running back DeVon Rice rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns. UH built a 16–0 first-half lead, survived a tie at 19–19 in the third quarter, and sealed the victory with a fourth-quarter score and a third defensive takeaway.
