Rangers' deGrom second fastest to 1,900 K's

Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom recorded his 1,900th career strikeout in the first inning of a game against the Chicago Cubs. The milestone made deGrom the second-fastest pitcher to reach 1,900 strikeouts, measured by both games played and innings pitched. DeGrom, a right-hander, continues to add to his career strikeout total since joining the Rangers.
