Rassie Erasmus hits out at controversial World Rugby changes
South Africa head coach Rassie Erasmus has publicly criticised World Rugby's new pre-match protocols, which now require both head coaches to mutually agree before either can meet with the match referee ahead of a Test. Previously, coaches could hold individual one-on-one meetings with officials to discuss laws and game management. Erasmus made the comments ahead of the Springboks' first Test against the All Blacks at Ellis Park, refereed by England's Matthew Carley, also noting that post-match video submissions are now capped at six clips and made visible to all international coaches and officials.
