Reaves retires from NHL after 16 seasons, 962 games

Ryan Reaves, 39, announced his retirement from the NHL on Wednesday after 16 seasons and 962 regular-season games. The forward, originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the fifth round of the 2005 NHL Draft, accumulated 140 points (66 goals, 74 assists) across seven teams, including the Vegas Golden Knights, with whom he helped reach the Stanley Cup Final in 2018. He played his final season with the San Jose Sharks, recording three goals in 50 games.
