LAFC defeated Red Bull New York 2-0 at BMO Stadium on Wednesday in the 2026 MLS season, keeping their place in the top four of the Western Conference with nine regular-season matches remaining. The opening goal came in the 21st minute when 17-year-old midfielder Jude Terry slotted home a rebound after goalkeeper Ethan Horvath saved a left-footed shot from Son Heung-Min. Midfielder Igor Jesus also returned to action in the 61st minute, his first appearance since suffering a knee injury on August 23, 2025.
