Record breakers! History books rewritten with 15 new marks

Scottish Athletics has ratified 15 new Scottish Records across a range of events and age groups during 2025-2026, following review by the Records Sub-Committee and approval by the Scottish Athletics Board. The records span disciplines from long jump to relays and decathlon, covering age groups from U14 to Senior, and were set at venues ranging from local Lanarkshire AAA Championships to the Diamond League in Oslo. Notable performances include Joseph Lanahan's U15 Boys Long Jump record of 6.57m, a Giffnock North U14 Girls Indoor 4x200m relay record of 1:50.20, and Megan Keith's Women's 3000m Scottish Record set in Oslo in June.
